This remarkable new concept and way of living brings your passion x art x discovery x love for humanity together. Our motto “No Rest for the Weary” suggests that you must keep persevering no matter how tired or overworked you are. However, when you do decide to take a minute to relax and escape you might as well rest easy in a place that’s COZY. Our sleeping quarters are nestled right in the heart of the EPICENTER facilty. The corridor features five hipster inspired bunk rooms with enough space to sleep up to 22 people. Whether traveling alone or in a group, COZY provides the adventurous the perfect opportunity to create, collaborate and connect with other individuals, a community of people/artists from all around the planet in the most warm, friendly, comfortable and inspiring environment you could ever imagine!

GUEST ACCESS: Access to COZY is private and limited to COZY guests only via keypad. COZY includes five sleeping rooms, a lounge area with TV and an eating space. However, guests also have access to the rest of the Boogiezone space which includes multiple lounges, two bathrooms and men's and women's locker rooms with showers.
GUEST INTERACTION: . Your host is available 24/7 via phone, text, Airbnb message, Whatsapp or WeChat to assist you. Our friendly front desk staff at Boogiezone can also assist you with questions during the studio’s standard operating hours.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Our Cozy sleeping quarters are located on the second floor of a 1920’s building. Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator and you must be physically able to climb a long flight of steps to access your room. You will appreciate a climate controlled environment, A/C for the summer months and heat for the winter. Each bed comes with its own fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, comforter and pillow and each room has natural ventilation and a fan (provided upon request) for air circulation. We do not allow smoking, vape, illegal drug use inside or on or around our premises. Please also remember that we are also running a creative art studio business, and that common areas beyond the Cozy Hallway should be respected and kept clean at all times.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: COZY by EPICENTER is just a 25 minute Uber ride from LAX and is easily accessible to all of The South Bay and greater Los Angeles County. Cozy is close to the 110 and 405 Freeways on Carson Street and Cabrillo situated in charming Old Town Torrance. Right in our own backyard and all within walking distance are dozens of restaurants offering every taste of food at every price point. Ralphs, a full-size grocery store is 0.4 miles away. The Redondo Beach Pier and its gorgeous beaches are just a mere 5 miles away. Ready to shop? You can embrace the coastal chic lifestyle at Del Amo Fashion Center, the South Bay's premier retail destination which features over 245 stores is only 2 miles away. Everything is easily accessible by walking, Uber, or public transportation.
GETTING AROUND: Parking in the rear lot is permitted during business hours. Please do not park in the valet or tandem slots dedicated to our restaurant neighbor. It is suggested for overnight parking that you park your vehicle on Carson street directly in front of COZY at EPICENTER and in the surrounding neighborhoods across from and behind the facility. Sorry we are not responsible for cars parked overnight in the parking lot of our building. You will be towed at the owner’s expense. Good thing, Uber and Lyft are very popular options, and a car is never more than 5 minute request away! Torrance Transit buses 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 all stop and pick up within one block to one mile of COZY.
THE HOUSE RULES
As you already know, we want nothing more than for this place to feel like home to you. HERE are some things to remember so that we can all maintain a nice, COZY, and clean environment for everyone that is a guest!
Please respect that we are also running and operating a creative arts business. Pay particular attention to our hours of operation.
Although you may use the common spaces, sitting areas, and gallery areas for working, studying and lounging - please do not use the dance studio spaces unless you book it. We are under 24/7 video surveillance.
Please do not leave your personal belongings/electronics lying around. Lock your luggage and use the shelf cubbies. If necessary, take your stuff with you. NOTE: We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Please do not move or remove our decorative accessories or wall art. If you move furniture, like a chair for example put it back where it came from.
Although we do allow you to eat and drink in your room, please clean up after yourself. If you spill, clean it up, and throw garbage in the bin.
Please do not overcrowd the sleeping space with excess baggage. Everyone should help to maintain a clean and comfortable room environment for their roommates. Please keep your personal belongings organized and tucked away when you are not using it.
Keep the bathroom sinks, showers clean and tidy. Especially when shaving or brushing your teeth. Wipe down after yourself. If we run out of paper products, please let COZY or front desk staff know!
For your security, keep the main COZY “Restricted Access” door closed during business hours and at night. Monitor and close windows that are adjacent to the roof deck, make sure to close them when you plan to leave.
Please keep the main rooftop door entrance locked at all times. This particular door is meant for emergency situations only.
The entire COZY hallway is a RESTRICTED AREA. For the safety and comfort of others, ONLY registered COZY guests are allowed in the colony.
Utilize do not disturb signs when necessary. Also, do not enter bunk rooms that are not assigned to you without permission.

Cozy Quiet Time is after 11:00pm and before 11:00am every single night. Please keep the noise levels down and respect the rest of others.
No obscene behavior, alcohol drinking, smoking, vaping, drugs, or mind-altering substances are allowed inside COZY, on or near our facility and physical property. Thank you for your cooperation!

COMFORTABLE X CUTE = COZY
EPICENTER - Arts + Entertainment, a 14,000 square foot, two-story, multi-disciplinary creative arts facility that in addition to having seven flexible use studios of varying sizes, also houses a 3,000sf 30 bed dormitory wing we like to call COZY! Are you traveling from abroad, want to train and live in the same place for a short period of time? Well, you are in luck!
Guests can access COZY, directly from a completely private space adjacent to EPICENTER, via security keypad. Once inside what is called “The Hallway of Dreams” you will immediately discover an awe-inspiring collection of hipster inspired rooms designed to offer not just rest and relaxation but inspiration too.
Available for your leisure is a shared lounge with Netflix enabled TV, Wii gaming console, and a piano for the musically inclined. Four of the sleeping rooms (approximately 12x12’) have two bunk beds in each of them and one of them has three bunk beds, large room (approximately 12’ x 16’) that has four bunk beds.
Each space is named for easy identification: Wanderlust, Escapade, Odyssey, Journey, Voyage and Quest. There is also a shared eating area with a table for four, hot plate, toaster oven, microwave and refrigerator. For your convenience there are two bathrooms available just steps from COZY's private entrance. Downstairs on the main floor you will find the men's and women's locker rooms complete with showers. What makes Cozy even more unique is that there are multiple lounge areas and places to sit and work throughout EPICENTER for you to use should you need more space and want to escape. Trust that once you step into COZY you will feel it’s inviting and energetic vibe, you will feel so at home you will most likely never want to leave.
